The bleeding is under control.  The surgeon just cauterized the areas that looked like they were bleeding or were going to bleed.  Craig received 2 units of blood and now he is home.  His pain has increased, but I think that is from the cauterization.  I did call Dr. Dunteman at home (he was off ill)   and asked how we were going to better control the pain.

He suggested that next week he would put in a temporary epidural and see if that helps Craig.  If Craig gets relief then he would place a permanent one in as an outpatient procedure.

Our good friend Kathy Thomson is coming in from NH on Sunday to visit and do some RN duties.  YEAH!!  She wants to give me a break!   It will be great to see her and the break won't be bad either!!
