No Joke!!
Craig is doing better. Although he was nauseated most of the day which means he didn't eat much. He may come home tomorrow (5th) if he is gaining strength and feels better than today. His counts are remaining stable or slightly improving. What a difference a week makes.
Now for the "NO JOKE" part. I received a call at 8am that my dad was being taken to the hospital by ambulance because "they think" he broke his hip....are you kidding me!!! So I told them to take him to MO BAP so I could run through the halls and take care of BOTH of my patients
Well, x rays we inconclusive, so tomorrow they are running a MRI to see if it is broken or not. He is not a very good patient and has a VERY low pain tolerance. So, it was a trying day. He finally was taken to a room about 6:00pm.
I went to see Craig for a little bit longer and decided, I was beat and I was going home to bed.
Now for some GOOD NEWS. My sister Phyllis is coming in tomorrow to rescue me!!
I think she could hear my panic and stress in my voice and decide to come in....YEAH!!!! She can't come quick enough. Twelve hours and counting
So that was my day....how was yours?
