Wow…impressive addition to the Craig Fund.  And Craig's gained 10-15 more pounds since I saw him in June?!?  Outstanding!!  Now we wait for the continuing good news from NY!!

Just got back from my 2 week vacation in the Michigan L.P. & U.P. again.  Around the same area of the notorious & famous Craig Picture Rocks tree pix.  Looks like the roots grabbed onto a whole massive slew of people from Lake Superior to 1300miles south to Cahokia.  Can't believe it's been a over year now since I first heard about the blog.  If this family trip hadn't been planned for 9 months, St.Louis would have been on the agenda.  Is it possible to get a copy of the Quartermainia book that was assembled??

Funny how Craig's experience has changed the way so many people think in life now.  My 2 week vacation consisted of 4 mini-vacations in 4 different areas of Michigan.  Leg #1 saw 9 friends by Cheboygan.  Leg #2 saw 17 friends by Traverse City.  Leg #3 saw my entire family (parents & siblings) at Lake Manistique in the UP.  Leg #4 saw 11 friends & family in St.Ignace in the UP, including a 3-1/2 hour night time fireworks cruise celebrating the 50-year anniversary of the Mackinaw Bridge.  The next day, one of our Operators in our plant was at Brevort State Campground, so we visiting him too.  So based on Craig's invisible aura that surrounds all of us now, I believe we've all learned life is too short not to try and squeeze everything we can into our life's journeys.

Many good restaurants up north in Michigan too.  My only concern when I got back and read the BBC news was the meat ban Japan enforced on USA beef.  Based on the cows in the meadows I saw up north on my vacation, it looks like our meat is just fine, aye??  L&T's from the Peat Crew
