Craig is still in the hospital and on IV's.  They are waiting to see which antibiotic will be most effective to battle his infection.  The infectious disease control has changed one already...so they must have seen something growing.  He is in room 1302 at Missouri Baptist (FYI).  He has his cell phone and his computer and work, so he is just waiting this out.  He is taking some pain meds, fluids and they ran a CT today.  We are awaiting for the results on that.

I talked to Dr. Chabot in NY.  So he is up to speed on what is going on.  He agrees if they find a pocket of fluid that they should put in a drain.  He said it is not a big deal and that it could be handled here.  However, Craig opened up and gushed a large amount of fluid, so I think we may have missed our opportunity for that to show up on the CT and Chabot concurred.  Timing is everything!   This CT will show disease growth though and we will be taking this to NY with us or we may send it to Chabot.

Meanwhile, my sister has to come in to do some work over the next few days, so it will be nice to have her here in the evening.  (Phyllis)  She has to work through the weekend and goes back on Mon. but I think Craig will be in the hospital longer than he thinks.  At least a couple of more days.
