TPN & more

Craig started his TPN yesterday.  He is eating as well, so I hope to have a chubby-hubby soon.   He is going to work daily and tries to rest up in the evenings.  He is enjoying the Red Wings run for the Cup.  Emily will be home next week. YEAH!

Now for a bit of sad news.  As you all know, Craig & I talk to many meso patients.  Well, on Mon. we lost a very special young lady.  She was only 14 when she got sick and passed away at the young age of 18.  I just felt I needed to be with the family, so I flew to Tenn. and I am so glad I went.  I felt like I was part of the family.  They had me sit with the family, ride with the family and really showed me what a special young lady Erin was.  She died way too young from a senseless disease.  Going and seeing Erin makes me want to fight that much harder to ban asbestos from coming into the States.  There are way to many Erin's and Craig's that I have talked to not try to do something.  I'll get down off my soapbox now.....but man does this frustrate the hell out of me!

BELIEVING............Shelly
