Believing

Craig just stopped by my office to wish me a Merry Christmas.  Let me just report to everyone who hasn't seen him recently--he looks and sounds so much stronger than the last time I saw him!!!! (about a week or so ago).  Definitely is on the road to "normal Craig," -- okay, Peat, maybe that's "abnormal normal Craig."  You all know what I mean.

Emily, you go girl, on the Christmas Carol trivia.  I took the quiz right after Linda blogged it and I don't remember my score, but I know it was lower than hers!  And I thought I knew a lot of them.  And congratulations on getting good grades while going through such a trying time with your dad in the hospital and your mom gone, and so many things on your mind.  You prove one of your mom's "Believe" statements:  "Believe that one's "will" really can make a difference."

Shelly, your Believe poem is just perfect.  You're not only a great nurse, you write well too!!  And you proved another one of your statements with your Believe poem :  "BELIEVE you can be so thankful, yet able to express it to those who have touched your life in such a profound way."  You have expressed your sentiments to all of us in such a heartfelt way with BELIEVE.

And we're all thankful to be able to be part of such a wonderful, extended family--brought together in adversity, yet faithful that we can all make a difference in each other's lives, even in the lives of people we may not yet know.  I BELIEVE.

Have a joyful, blessed Merry Christmas.

love, deb
