Happy December from WISCONSIN???

Good Morning Bloggie Friends from sunny Wisconsin!

I'm sitting here in a lovely hotel in Madison wearing my Craigstrong t-shirt for the ride home today (I hope!).  Came to Madison for a class this past week and got stuck due to the big storm.  Ugh!  But things could be worse.  We could have gotten on an alternate flight to Chicago Thursday afternoon and be sleeping at O'Hare...  Jim Roth, in a post-op haze, told Diane he heard on TV that Lambert was going to close at 3:00 on Thursday.  Knowing I was supposed to be traveling on Thursday, Diane called Ed and Ed called me.  Turns out the dazed patient heard right!  Our morning flight cancelled (mechanical reasons?  I think NOT!  We think they cancelled us because there weren't a lot of us on the plane.)  We didn't get on the flight to Chicago and ended up staying at the Crowne Plaza hotel at the "distressed traveler" rate.  I'm so thankful for a shower, a clean bed, restaurants rather than vending machines.  I could go on and on.

It looks like Thanksgiving at the Special K Ranch was a huge success.  I can't believe it's December already.  Emily, have a wonderful 21st Birthday!  Be safe and have fun!!!!

Pam, as always I love your blogs.  You bring us all back to what's really important.

Stay warm and cozy Everyone and here's to a lovely holiday season.  It's cool to have this Bloggie Family to share the holiday spirit.
Peace,
Linda
