Chug & Cluck

Hello Kozicki's and Crew.  Hope the weight gain is continuing.  For me...my choice would be lots of creamy peanut butter.  Yum.  Ya know, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving holds many memories for me and my family.  One of the best involves Craig & Monsanto.  Craig & I car-pooled for about a 8 months back then before he moved to the Village Green apartments in Wyandotte.  When I was only working at Monsanto for 2 weeks and 3 days (Nov 21, 1979), Craig was already working there for about 7 months.  So after work...Turkey Eve...at the Captain's Pub on Fort St in Trenton, about 40 of us hit the pub.  Back then we actually were devoted and worked until 4:30pm religiously.  This was the first time I was anywhere with my new co-workers.  Needless to say, 6+ hours of drinking, and using my 23-year old liver as filter basin for beer, pretty much made alot of future chemistry camaraderie with my new coworkers.  I believe the infamous "Pub Night" festivity became a weekly thing for about 2 decades with so many people after that.  Kinda wish we could bottle some of those memories, aye?  Wow...how things have changed.

Well, I don't know how people in St.Louis celebrate Thanksgiving, but here in the Detroit area, we all dress up for the occasion.  To all of Craig's Army, have a great Holiday.  Peat & Family.
