Hello Everyone,

After talking with Shelly today, it was decided to leave the blog party as originally planned at The Special K Ranch, also known as Shelly and Craig's home.  Craig's comfort level was Shelly's biggest concern, so Shelly prefers to keep the party at her house so Craig could rest comfortably if needed.

Soooooooooo, the winery will have to be at a later time, it is NOT ruled out forever!!!  I have offered to be the BLOG PARTY COORDINATOR, if you will. The decision was made to make it very, very simple for everyone. We decided to have it a chili and/or soup day. So, start digging through your favorite recipes and please bring your favorite chili or soup, preferably in a crock pot, so all we have to do is plug it in. For the out of towners, please don't worry about bringing something, there's no doubt there will be plenty for everyone. 

For the beer drinkers, beer will be provided by Shelly and Craig. If you prefer some other form of beverage, please BYOB. I will be posting more information as I talk things over with the commander in chief (that's Shelly, in case you didn't know)... Shelly, I meant that lovingly!!.  The party will start around 1:00ish and will go on till the cows fly over the moon............. or till the wee hours of the morn... I think you get my drift!!!

The theme is: Country (how appropriate since Shelly sent all of us the words to Tim McGraw's song). That song will be played at the shin dig, that's for sure!!  Anyway, bring your blue jeans, your cowboy boots and hats, flannel shirts, anything to make this Country themed blog party one big hootenanny good time!!  Any suggestions, please send them my way.  Thanks so much....can't wait to meet y"all (see, it's country!!)
