Greetings From Craig

I want all to know that I have enjoyed all the comments on the blog as they have really help to pick up my spirits. The notes of support and encouragement continually reinforce that I have a lot of people rooting for me. In fact it reminds me of the Verizon commercials-Everywhere I turn there is someome behind me. I know this picks Shelly up  as this ordeal has been grueling for her. But I am trying to nag her to eat and sleep while she's trying to nursemaid me.

My room looks like a Hallmark shop which is just one more reminder of the support that we are receiving..

I see the notes regarding meals and taking care of Yvonne, Luke and the house. This is another comfort factor that all of these details are being handled.

The support from friends, relatives, family, coworkers, meso network and from those I may have never met is just overwhelming. I've never been a good writer and struggle to convey my thoughts but really appreciate all of your help especially for Shelly and Emily. I have a tough road but this is also extremely difficlut for them. They have done a tremendous job and have been uplifted by the many inspirational comments.

Now for some random thoughts which is more in my line of thinking and writing:

*Thanks Tom for setting up the BLOG. If anyone could do it you could. However did you create too big of a workload for yourself?

*Thanks to Bob and Kathy for spending some time here to help out especially is support of Shelly and Emily.

*Red Wings/Blues bantering. I'm enjoying it but will remain a spectator for a while.

*I love the idea of a Blog party. Patty, no rain please.

*For those that don't know PEAT, we started out at Monsanto together and have been good friends since the college years. Peat is a pack rat and can probably tell me how many hits I got in a softball game on July 12, 1978. He was also know for wearing some very unusual disco shirts. With Peats archives you may get some insight into a younger Craig.

Finally, how I'm feeling:

This has been a little frustrating as it is a much slower process than in the past and I'm not a very patient person. There are also a lot more variables that are being watched and changing day to day resulting in changes that can be frustrating. I view what I'm going through as one of these old time boxing matches (1900's?) where there was no round limit and some fights going 60-70 rounds.

I don't know how many rounds this will take and I am better understanding that I will lose some, win some and also win some but feel a bit beat up.But in the end I plan to be standing thanks to all of the support from all of you.

Keep them coming:Notes, letters, cards, jokes, bantering, pictures etc.

Again, you've all been great and I can't thank you enough

Craig
